A hand fan needs no electricity, no cable and no battery — and it is there within two seconds when the air stops moving. Folded it fits into any bag, open it makes a breeze straight away. One of the smallest gifts in the shop — and the only one that actually moves some air.

Two brands, two handwritings

Wick Wohnkultur runs an interiors and design shop in the old town of Zurich and draws the motifs for its fans in house — we picked ten of them, from painted koi and a dachshund in sunglasses to a lobster pattern nobody misses. These fans are made in China. From A FAN OF come the quieter gradients and stripes.

Which one for whom?

  • As a gift: the Sausage Dog and the Huere Heiss — one makes people laugh, the other says in Swiss German what everyone is thinking.
  • For a wedding or the office: the Cherry Blossoms and the Coralls, the understated ones.
  • For lake and pool: the Swimmer and the Koi.
  • If you prefer plain colour: the gradients and stripes by A FAN OF.

The fans by Wick Wohnkultur cost 12.00 CHF, those by A FAN OF a little more. Free delivery within Switzerland from 50 CHF. And if you would rather hold one first: you will find them in our shop at Kronengasse 12 in Baden.
