Atelier 1818

A studio is a place where good old craftsmanship is kept alive. A place where people work with love and with creativity. It is also a place to meet, to exchange ideas and to discover something new.

Atelier 1818 works partly with machines that are a hundred years old, and wants to use its work to support people who are less privileged.

The name Atelier 1818 comes from the house in Bern where they are based. It was built in 1818 and served as the business seat of the «cloth merchant Siegfried».
