Inspiration for the flower animal motif
Reana Hostettler: The idea for Pedro came about when I was talking with a good friend about flower animals on sponge cloths. The question was: What animal does washing better than a raccoon? And so Pedro was born.
The raccoon represents the ability to creatively overcome obstacles , adaptability, and curiosity—all qualities I greatly admire. The irises on its head underscore this symbolically: loyalty, hope, and wisdom .
And his paws? They form "I love you" in sign language – a silent but powerful gesture. Oh, and if you don't know Pedro's meme yet… you should definitely check it out on Watch YouTube !
