Inspiration for the Blumentiere motif (flower animal)

Reana: the idea for Pedro came about while I was talking with a good friend about flower animals on sponge cloths. The question was: which animal washes better than a raccoon? And that's how Pedro was born.

The raccoon stands for the ability to creatively overcome obstacles, for adaptability and curiosity – all qualities I admire greatly. The irises on his head underline this with symbolic power: loyalty, hope and wisdom.

And his paws? They form «I love you» in sign language – a quiet but powerful gesture. Oh, and if you don't know Pedro's meme yet… you really should watch it on YouTube!
