Inspiration behind the Blumentier motif

Reana: «The idea for Pedro came about while I was talking with a good friend about flower animals on sponge cloths. The question was: which animal does the washing-up better than a raccoon? And that's how Pedro was born.»

The raccoon stands for the ability to overcome obstacles creatively, for adaptability and curiosity – qualities Reana admires greatly. The irises on his head underline this with symbolic power: loyalty, hope and wisdom.

And his paws? They form «I love you» in sign language – a quiet but powerful gesture. By the way, if you don't know Pedro's meme yet… you really should look it up on YouTube!
