St. Gallen StadtBrett, chopping board

Beautiful silhouette with motifs of the city of St. Gallen: St. Gallen Cathedral.

This special city board shows the majestic St. Gallen Cathedral, a landmark with a deeply rooted history. The cathedral stands on the spot where the Irish monk Gallus founded his hermitage in 612. In the 18th century it was built in the baroque splendour you see today and, together with the Abbey District, it forms the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The motif is worked as a fine wood inlay in maple and walnut, recalling the traditional craft of marquetry. Fortunately, these fine details no longer have to be laboriously filed out by hand. Instead, a precise laser makes sure the beautiful subjects come out perfectly, down to the smallest detail. That not only gives impressive results, it also allows a more attractive price. The exclusivity stays intact while the board remains affordable for every enthusiast.

The St. Gallen chopping boards come in two sizes, for cutting or simply for serving food beautifully.

Rubber feet for a perfect grip

The chopping boards have four non-slip rubber feet underneath, so they stay safely in place while you cut.

We are happy to laser the text of your choice onto the top side, bottom right. Perfect as a personal gift. For a birthday, for example, as a wedding present, as a gift for your staff or for your customers. Design & manufacture

Our city board was designed by Reana from Baden and is made by hand with a lot of love in the supported workshop Ekkharthof in Lengwil TG, Switzerland.

Wood origin

We use maple wood from the region within 50 km around Lake Constance. The untreated walnut wood comes from the USA. All types of wood come from sustainable forestry.

Unless a different delivery time is stated in the item description, delivery takes 3–6 business days within Switzerland and Liechtenstein. No deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.
