Wooden serving tray – handmade in Switzerland
The NaniManu M serving tray is a handmade solid wood tray, made in Switzerland. With its compact dimensions of 39 × 24 × 5.5 cm and two ergonomic handles, it is perfect for serving breakfast or drinks – or simply as a decorative home accessory.
Choose between three fine woods: beech, oak or walnut. Every serving tray is one of a kind, because the natural grain makes each piece different.
Material and wood types
- Beech: light, robust, pleasant to the touch. Wood from sustainable forestry, Lake Constance region.
- Oak: strong grain, particularly hard-wearing. Wood from within 50 km of Lake Constance (Switzerland, Germany or Austria).
- Walnut: dark, elegant look with an expressive grain. Untreated wood from the USA.
All types of wood come from sustainable forestry.
Design and production
The serving tray was designed by Reana in Baden and is carefully handmade in the supported workshop Ekkharthof in Lengwil TG. With your purchase you support social integration and meaningful work.

Care
The wood is oiled once before delivery: you can use the tray straight away and re-oil it once or twice a year with a food-safe wood oil (for example linseed oil). Do not put it in the dishwasher – simply wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry.

What wood is the serving tray made of?
The M serving tray is available in three woods: beech, oak and walnut. Beech and oak come from sustainable forestry within 50 km of Lake Constance – that radius reaches across the border, so the wood comes from Switzerland, Germany or Austria. Walnut comes from the USA. All versions are made of solid wood, oiled once before delivery.
How do I care for a wooden serving tray properly?
Wipe the tray with a damp cloth after use and let it dry. For extra protection you can rub it regularly with a food-safe wood oil (for example linseed oil). Please do not put it in the dishwasher.

Every serving tray is handmade in the supported workshop Ekkharthof in Lengwil (Thurgau, Switzerland). The design comes from Reana, a designer based in Baden. It is a genuine piece of Swiss craftsmanship.
What size is the M serving tray?
The M serving tray measures 39 × 24 × 5.5 cm and has two ergonomic handles. It is the middle size – ideal for breakfast, drinks or as a decorative tray. There is also a size S (30 × 20 cm) and a size L (50 × 33 cm).
Is the wooden tray suitable for food?
Yes, all woods (beech, oak, walnut) are food-safe. The tray is oiled once with a food-safe oil and contains no chemical additives. It is suitable for serving food, drinks, cheese and much more.
Care instructions for wooden products
This is how your wooden product stays beautiful for a long time:
- Water is taboo – water is, next to fire, the biggest enemy of wood. Please always wash by hand, dry immediately and never put in the dishwasher.
- Oils for protection – Food-grade oils such as linseed oil, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, etc. are easy to apply. They offer protection but need a few days to fully harden, so oil them and let them sit for a while.
- Constant humidity – Make sure the humidity remains constant, this will help the wood maintain its shape and stability.
- Even exposure to light – Expose the wood to sun and light evenly to avoid unwanted color differences.
- Wood wax for shine – A little wood wax makes the wood shine, but offers no protection against water.
- Avoid extreme temperature changes – Be careful not to expose the wood to extreme temperature changes to avoid cracking and warping.

Postal shipping (flat rate per order):
- Economy: CHF 9.80 (3–5 business days)
- Priority: CHF 14.80 (1–3 business days)

Longer delivery time for larger quantities:
For orders of 20 or more units of the same item, the delivery time may be longer,
as we don't always have this quantity in stock.
In that case, delivery usually takes about 10 days.

Delivery Times
Unless a different delivery time is stated in the item description, delivery takes 3–6 business days within Switzerland and Liechtenstein. No deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.
If you've ordered items with different delivery times, we ship the order together in a single shipment, unless otherwise agreed. In that case, the delivery time is based on the item with the longest delivery time.
