A design object, an experience – and six games in a single box.
Here, playfulness meets creativity – and of course, a little bit of surprise is also essential.

The NaniCube2 is our lovingly designed multi-talent: On the 6 sides of 16 wooden cubes, two classic games and four modern play ideas and creative experiments await. Swiss Design & Swiss Made, produced with passion in collaboration with the Weizenkorn Foundation.

Included are timeless favorites like Nine Men's Morris and Mosaic , plus four in-house developed games: the modern Snakes and Ladders game Labyrinth , the elemental No Hurry , our dice adventure Cube Runner , and the visually striking NaniXO . Many game boards can be flipped or rearranged – perfect for trying out your own variations.

The story behind the NaniCube2

Designer Reana Hostettler-Durrer grew up with mosaic cubes. From this childhood memory came a vision: a box that not only looks beautiful but also offers a lot of fun. So, in addition to mosaic, other board games were added – each with its own little story:

Mühlestein: The classic – timeless, tactical, simply a must-have.
Mosaic: Create patterns, combine colors, let yourself drift. A creative break guaranteed.
No rush: A compact variation of "Haste Makes Waste," inspired by water, earth, air, and fire. Together, you build a tower in the center – the balance of the elements.
Maze: A slightly different version of Snakes and Ladders. Start on the blue square or the orange triangle – and with a bit of luck, you can even rotate the game board.
Cube Runner: This game was developed by Jan Durrer. An "out of the box" game: Lay your own path, change the sequence with dice 5 & 6 – pure dynamism.
NaniXO: Tic-Tac-Toe or 4x4 – playable both on the square surface and freely beyond it. New shapes, new strategies.

Everything extra finds its place in the double bottom of the box: instructions, dice & figures in a cotton bag – and the whole thing looks really good on the shelf as a design object.

The game box is crafted with great care by the Weizenkorn Foundation – a social enterprise that provides meaningful employment for over 300 people with disabilities. Since 1979, Weizenkorn has stood for quality, respect, and genuine craftsmanship. We are incredibly proud to have the NaniCube2 produced there.

Care instructions for wooden products

This is how your wooden product stays beautiful for a long time:

Water is taboo – water is, next to fire, the biggest enemy of wood. Please always wash by hand, dry immediately and never put in the dishwasher.
Oils for protection – Food-grade oils such as linseed oil, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, etc. are easy to apply. They offer protection but need a few days to fully harden, so oil them and let them sit for a while.
Constant humidity – Make sure the humidity remains constant, this will help the wood maintain its shape and stability.
Even exposure to light – Expose the wood to sun and light evenly to avoid unwanted color differences.
Wood wax for shine – A little wood wax makes the wood shine, but offers no protection against water.
Avoid extreme temperature changes – Be careful not to expose the wood to extreme temperature changes to avoid cracking and warping.

With these tips, you can enjoy your wooden product for a long time. Have fun with it!

Postal delivery (flat rate per order):

Longer delivery times for wood products and larger quantities:
For orders of more than 3 pieces of the same wooden item, the delivery time may be extended. because we don't always have these quantities directly in stock or produce them individually. The delivery time is usually about 14–21 days . We will gladly inform you about the exact availability in advance upon request.

Local pickup (free of charge)

You can also pick up your wood products directly from our store in Baden. To do this, select the "Local Pickup" option during the ordering process.
