Robust, stylish, and ready for anything that happens in your kitchen.
Our end grain oak chopping block is truly unique: handcrafted, extremely durable, and a beautiful design piece for your kitchen. Whether it's meat, vegetables, bread, or cake – this block can handle it all.
On this chopping block, you can cut, chop, and prepare to your heart's content. Thanks to the special end-grain processing, the surface is particularly resistant and gentle on knives. Cuts remain significantly less visible than on conventional cutting boards – so your block will stay beautiful for a long time.
Chopping blocks made from end grain wood are valued worldwide. The wood fibers are perpendicular to the surface. This makes the block particularly robust and durable – perfect for daily use in the kitchen.
What makes our chopping block special is the precise craftsmanship. The individual pieces of wood are not assembled randomly. For each block, care is taken to create harmonious patterns through the natural grain. Thus, each board forms a unique ornament – a true one-of-a-kind piece.
On the underside, four discreet rubber feet ensure a secure grip. The chopping block remains stable on the work surface and does not slip when cutting.
The chopping block is carefully handcrafted by a befriended carpenter, Salomon Leu. Each piece is created with extensive experience, precision, and attention to detail.
For our chopping blocks, oak wood from the region around Lake Constance (approx. 50 km radius) is used. The wood comes from sustainable forestry.
