Inspiration for the flower-animal motif

Reana: The cat Zorbas belongs to Gillian Magyarovits – and from now on to the flower-animal collection by Reana.Design as well. The name immediately brings to mind the wonderful children's book «The Story of a Seagull and the Cat Who Taught Her to Fly» by Luis Sepúlveda – a story about friendship, courage and growing beyond yourself.

The delicate blossoms of the cat's eye on Zorbas's head stand for attentiveness, sensitivity and quiet strength – qualities that have always fascinated me about cats. This motif simply had to be part of the collection.
