Things run hot in the world of schlager — the German take on sentimental pop — and that is exactly where the mysterious story of “Ihr Herz schlug Schlager” begins. In this murder mystery dinner you become part of the glittering “Schlager-Megaparade”, where a tragic crime overshadows the festive mood. Slip into the roles of the suspects and uncover the dark secrets behind the scenes of schlager glamour!

*Male roles can of course be played by women and the other way round.

The story

The “Schlager-Megaparade” at Magdeburg’s civic hall is in full swing. Snow cannons and the reindeer ballet create the perfect Christmas mood while the audience waits for the stars and the newcomers. But what was planned as a sparkling celebration ends abruptly in drama: the much-loved singer Janine Bayer is found dead in her dressing room – struck down with her own trophy, “Der Goldene Gockel” (“the golden cockerel”). Now it is up to you to work out who is behind this tragic murder. Was it a colleague, a rival, or someone from her closest circle?

Costumes are optional, but they help to bring the roles to life and take you right into the world of schlager. A few ideas:
