Inspiration for the Flower-Animal Motif

Reana Hostettler: A whole flock of small birds lives outside our bedroom window – including the lively blue tit with its blue head. Sam particularly likes to visit when James, our cat, isn't blocking the balcony.

For me, Sam represents joy of life and curiosity, for the small, colorful moments in everyday life. The combination of flowers and Sam's colorful plumage is an expression of lightness for me – and the joy of simply pausing and observing nature.
