Inspiration behind the Blumentier motif
Reana: «Anyone who knows me knows – I love ducks. In every colour and shape. A white duck named Bella once lived in my neighbourhood. She waddled through the gardens, quacked happily, and was something of a little watchdog. Sadly, her story didn't have a happy ending – she had to move away and wasn't recognised in her new home.
Little Bella lives on in my memory today – and a little in Emma too. She embodies joie de vivre, playfulness and that special closeness animals can give. With this motif, I wanted to create a loving tribute to Bella – and to all the little ducks out there.»
