Baden is a picturesque town rich in history and culture. At the centre is the impressive town church, whose tower is decorated with colourful roof tiles. In the background, the Stein ruins stand on a hill, a relic of the medieval castle that once dominated the region. The town tower with its distinctive clock and colourful roof complements the historic ensemble. The old town of Baden is characterised by narrow streets and charming half-timbered houses that underline the character of this historic town.

The motif is implemented in a fine wooden inlay made of maple and walnut, reminiscent of the traditional art of inlay craftsmanship. Fortunately, these fine details no longer have to be laboriously worked out by hand with a file. Instead, a precise laser ensures that the beautiful subjects can be perfectly implemented down to the smallest detail. This not only leads to impressive results, but also enables a more attractive price. This means that the exclusivity is maintained, while still remaining affordable for every lover.

Baden's cutting boards are available in two sizes for cutting or simply serving food.

The cutting boards have four non-slip rubber feet on the bottom to ensure they stay securely in place while cutting.

Design & Manufacturing

Our city board was designed by Reana Hostettler-Durrer from Baden and is lovingly handcrafted in the supervised Ekkharthof workshop in Lengwil TG, Switzerland.

Wood origin

We use maple wood from the region 50 km around Lake Constance. The untreated walnut wood comes from the USA. All types of wood come from sustainable forestry.
