The story

On Christmas Eve, the snow fell gently over the Krone family's elegant villa. With over 50,000 tons of gingerbread and cookies per year, the Krone company is one of the leading Christmas baked goods manufacturers in Germany. Landlady Dorothea Krone, who ran the family business in the third generation, had invited her family to celebrate Christmas together - as she does every year. But when Dorothea is found dead in her bedroom, the celebration takes a tragic turn. How could this have happened?

The suspects

• Benjamin Krone (40): A bon vivant and bar owner in Hamburg. He hates Christmas and only came spontaneously.
• Peggy Kowalski (38): Was engaged to Johannes, the deceased brother of Walter and Benjamin. The hairdresser is a cheerful person and does not fit into the rigid family at all.
• Yoshi Watanabe (33): Geriatric nurse in the victim's house, full of enthusiasm for Christmas and everything that goes with it.
• Anna Kowalski (17): Peggy's daughter and the victim's granddaughter. She is a convinced vegan and climate activist.
• Eva Krone (35): Married to Walter and heads the company's foundation. She is a woman who knows exactly what she wants.
• Walter Krone (42): Son of the victim and potential successor to the company. A man who always fulfilled his family's expectations.
