Inspiration for the flower animal motif

Reana Hostettler: Anyone who knows me knows – I love ducks. In all shapes and sizes. There once lived a white duck named Bella in my neighborhood. She waddled through the gardens, quacked happily, and was something of a little watchdog. Unfortunately, her story didn't have a happy ending – she had to move and wasn't recognized in her new home.

Little Bella lives on in my memory today—and to some extent in Emma. She embodies joie de vivre, playfulness, and that special closeness that animals can give. With this motif, I wanted to create a loving memorial to Bella—and to all the little ducks out there.
